It is a pleasure to introduce you to The Salvation Army Rockingham. At our church, we work alongside others to make a difference. Wherever there is injustice and hardship, we endeavour to bring the love of Jesus to transform our community, one life at a time. We regularly witness the love of Jesus changing lives - from one of despair - to hope and a purpose. As a church, we meet together weekly to celebrate this. We understand you might be finding it tough on your own and we want to come alongside you on your journey and help. We offer a place and a community where you can belong and make a difference. We hope you'll join us. We are a people of faith committed to loving God and others in creative and tangible ways. We achieve this through meeting together each week (Sunday, 10am), remaining in contact with each other through the week (in small groups), private prayer and study, and community involvement.Our Activities

Youth
Friday 6pm–8pm during school term
Great social time for youth in a healthy environment. Keep up to date on facebook as the program can vary. Its free and you can call for further information on 0439 408 180

Worship
Sunday 10am
A vibrant worship experience for the whole family, celebrating God through scripture, song and sermon. Children's and youth programs are run during this time. We look forward to meeting you. When you come to our Sunday morning celebration you will hear great music, see interesting media, hear a short message, your children will be invited to join in fun activities with other children, and you will meet friendly people over refreshments.
There is no requirement to wear anything different than when you visit a friend's house. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions or perhaps be prayed
for, if you desire. You will not be singled out but you will be warmly welcomed. -
Social Club
Wednesday 9:30am Fortnightly
Various fun activities are offered fortnightly. All are welcome. Come and make some new friends.

Small Groups
Small groups meet each week or fortnight to study the Bible, to share in friendship and to discuss matters of mutual importance. Enquiries to darrell.wilson@aus.salvationarmy.org

Prayer Meeting
Wednesday 11am–12pm

A 10-week program focused on developing positive strategies to manage anger, grief and relationships. This is a one-on-one program, by appointment

Op Shop
Monday to Friday 9am–4pm, Saturday 9am–3pm
Stocked with good quality clothing and other goods, come along for a bargain. We take donations during open hours and appreciate all your support.

Thursday 9:30 - 11am (School Term)
This is a fun and interactive music session for young children (not yet school age) and their parents/caregivers followed by morning tea in a relaxed setting. $5 per family.

Tuesday & Friday Mornings
Donated bread is available to those in need two mornings a week. Come along and choose what you would like.

Experiencing financial hardship? Call the Community Service Centre for an appointment Tuesday and Friday. Or drop in for a food parcel—available to those in need Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
