Celebrate Christmas with The Salvation Army

Welcome to Australia’s biggest Christmas tradition! This year, Carols in the Domain is thrilled to celebrate its 44th iteration, with The Salvation Army proud to return as the official naming partner — continuing a decades-long legacy of supporting this magical event. Together, we invite you and your family to celebrate the joy, hope, and the community spirit of Christmas season.

Supporting families facing living and housing costs

Christmas has always been the toughest time of the year for people in hardship. But in the face of increased economic uncertainty, vulnerable families across Australia are feeling increasingly afraid and more isolated than ever. The cost of living is out of control, housing affordability has plummeted, and the looming threat of recession is hitting Australians, especially those already vulnerable, hardest.

For families struggling, Christmas is a cruel reminder of the vast distance between them and the hope of a better life. They feel afraid, alone, and desperate to make it through Christmas without going under.
