Housing
Salvation Army Housing is a national Mission Enterprise that works with people to provide safe, secure and affordable housing. We also work in close collaboration with all Salvos services to deliver holistic life opportunities for our tenants.
As a registered community housing organisation, we provide various kinds of accommodation – crisis, transitional, long-term housing and rooming house accommodation for singles, couples or families that are homeless or at risk of homelessness or on low incomes. These accommodation programs are specific to each state.

How we help
Although we cannot place you into housing immediately, we can help ease the challenges you face by providing assistance regarding where to go for assessments and the correct applications to fill out to get you on a waiting list for housing that is suitable to your needs.
If you currently work with a support worker, they can also assist you with starting your journey into housing. For more information about how Salvation Army Housing (SAH) can help you, please find the service in your state below:
Salvation Army Housing is committed to embedding a child safe culture throughout our organisation and providing a welcoming and safe service.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of this country and their connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to them, their cultures and customs, and to Elders both past and present.
