Lodging a Whistleblower Report at The Salvation Army Australia

An important part of supporting legal and ethical standards in The Salvation Army Australia is enabling people to speak up about any improper, illegal, corrupt and/or unethical conduct by The Salvation Army Australia Territory or its personnel. The Salvation Army has a structured approach to whistleblowing.

Let us know

We would encourage any personnel, contractors, associates or their immediate family/dependents to bring any misconduct to the attention of either the Divisional Commander, Head of Department, or National Director as a first step. However, if you do not feel comfortable or safe in doing so, you can lodge a confidential and anonymous Whistleblower Report to Your Call Whistleblowing Solutions 24/7, an independent third-party service.

We will respond

Internal reporting of improper, illegal, corrupt and/or unethical conduct within The Salvation Army Australia is taken very seriously and will be investigated and responded to accordingly. Your Call Whistleblowing Solutions will bring your concerns to The Salvation Army’s prompt attention, while keeping your information and identity confidential. The Salvation Army Australia commits to reviewing all reports and will follow a procedure to investigate any improper, illegal, corrupt and/or unethical conduct and taking action when necessary.

You will be informed

The Salvation Army will provide an outcome on any legitimate Whistleblower Reports to Your Call Whistleblowing Solutions which will then be communicated to the individual who submitted the original report.

Note: If a general complaint is lodged here, it will go through the general complaints process. Learn more about the difference between lodging a complaint and submitting a Whistleblower Report here.
