Rural support

Are you a farmer or rural worker based in a regional or remote area? Our rural chaplains are available to support you.

Drought relief

The Salvation Army is no longer accepting new applications for government-funded drought assistance as of 16 May 2019.

Funds that are remaining under the Drought Community Support Initiative have been allocated to the applications that are eligible for assistance and that we have received before 16 May 2019 and are currently processing. If you have applied for drought assistance through our website or call centre please be advised that application processing time takes approximately four weeks.

For information in regards to other drought support services that are available please visit  farmhub.org.au. Farmhub is an Australian Government initiative, administered by the National Famers' Federation.

Rural chaplains

Rural chaplains can visit you and provide emotional, spiritual and/or physical help. From practical support on the farm, to sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, our chaplains want to lend a hand. It doesn't matter how remote or isolated you are, our Outback Flying Services enable us to travel far and wide.

If you would like to speak with a chaplain, please fill out the form below.
