A message from the Divisional Commander

Dear friends,

It is my pleasure to write to you - our valued supporters right across the state of Western Australia and indeed nationally.

Whilst I have now settled into my role as Divisional Commander, I have quickly become aware of the overwhelming generosity of the WA community who underpin and build our capacity to serve those in their darkest hour.

West Australians are renowned for their gracious and compassionate hearts - as big as our geographical state - and I am excited to lead The Salvation Army at this t ime of great opportunity but also immense challenges.

The Salvation Army believes however that not one life is predestined for underachievement and there is always an alternate path that brings a different outcome.

We remain as committed as ever together with our friends and partners to work with great speed and determination in delivering Hope, Dignity, Justice, Compassion and a sense of Community.

Thank you for standing alongside The Salvation Army. We are indeed blessed.

Lt Colonel Chris Reid
Divisional Commander
