Volunteering opportunities
Since the inaugural event in 1983, The Salvation Army has been the proud charity partner of Carols in the Domain, raising more than $3.5 million through the sale of candles and candle bags to help support Australians experiencing homelessness.
After two incredible decades with Woolworths as the naming rights partner for Carols, we’re thrilled to share a new chapter in the event’s history — The Salvation Army is now the official naming partner of Australia’s largest Christmas celebration, now proudly known as The Salvation Army’s Carols in the Domain.
This year, we seek the support of volunteers to help us get ready for and conduct the event. Opportunities include helping sell our candle bags, as well as volunteer ushers to assist attendees.
Please check below for opportunities and how to apply.
