What is the Social Justice Toolkit?

This is all-in-one digital resource gives you everything you need to bring social justice into your classroom with confidence. 

It includes curriculum-aligned lessons, interactive activities, videos, worksheets and  presentation slides. These flexible learning modules align with the Australian Curriculum and can be tailored to your timetable and your students’ pace of learning.

Looking for a safe, meaningful way to explore homelessness in your classroom?

The Social Justice Toolkit: Homelessness module provides more than six hours of engaging, curriculum linked lesson content designed to inspire compassion and empower students to take informed, local action.

What’s inside each lesson:

  • A range of customisable activities to suit the learning styles and needs of your students
  • Videos that explore Salvation Army services and share real stories from people with lived experience
  • Creative tasks that promote empathy and encourage students to support others and advocate for change

The module supports students to:

  • develop understanding of homelessness and its causes
  • engage with real world stories and lived experience
  • build empathy and reflect on informed, compassionate responses
  • take action safe, meaningful action
