Rural chaplains & support

Our rural chaplains provide support for people in regional and remote areas who need practical assistance, or who would simply benefit from a listening ear and a hand of friendship.

The Salvation Army has 12 rural chaplains covering most of NSW, ACT, and Queensland. The Outback Flying Service also operates in remote and isolated areas. Our chaplains conduct regular visits to farmers and rural workers, maintaining ongoing personal contact and support between visits.
