Suzi looking distressed with her two children at the boot of her car.

You can be hope for a family like Suzi’s.

Homelessness is harming families like Suzi’s right across Australia.

In fact, Suzi was just one of 80,000 single parents who accessed homelessness services last year.

This is why your Red Shield Appeal support is so important before 30 June.

When Suzi was forced out of her family home and packed her two kids into the car, she had no idea where they would sleep.

Feeling hopeless and terrified, she called The Salvation Army.

Without the support of a dedicated Salvos Case Worker to help find her family a safe place to call home, who knows how many nights they would have spent sleeping in carparks — with nowhere safe to go.

Suzi’s family was able to build a new life filled with hope thanks to support like yours.

Sadly, Suzi is just one of many single parents struggling through intolerable stress right now, especially as housing continues to become increasingly unaffordable.

Your Red Shield Appeal support can be the hope a family like Suzi desperately needs to break free from homelessness for good.

Please give today as generously as you can. Thank you.
