Right now, rising living costs and housing pressures are placing more Australian families under significant financial strain. Many are struggling to afford everyday essentials like food, rent and heating, with some forced to make impossible choices just to get by.

Every 17 seconds, someone reaches out for help, and last year alone, our frontline teams responded to more than 1.74 million requests for support.
Last year, The Salvation Army:
- helped provide more than 1.5 million meals to people experiencing homelessness
- provided more than 1 million bed nights to people in need of safe accommodation
- distributed nearly $24 million in financial assistance through cash, gift cards, vouchers and help with household bills
They can’t do this alone. This year, The Salvation Army needs our support more than ever.
