Every 17 seconds, someone reaches out for help, and last year alone, our frontline teams answered more than 1.76 million calls for support.
Last year, The Salvation Army:
- helped provide more than 1.5 million meals to people experiencing homelessness
- provided more than 1.1 million bed nights to people in need of safe accommodation
- distributed nearly $25 million in financial assistance in cash, gift cards, vouchers and assistance paying household bills
