Salvos called to mobilise and support Indonesian earthquake and tsunami recovery.

The Salvation Army Australia has launched the Indonesian Earthquake and Tsunami Appeal.

We are asking for your help to get supplies to those affected. Fresh water, food survival kits, medical supplies and shelter are urgently required. Transporting supplies throughout the city and to remote areas is also an immediate need.

The Salvation Army’s Woodward Hospital in Palu has been damaged but it is still functional and providing vital emergency assistance to survivors. Necessary repairs are being carried out to ensure operating theatres are functioning and patients can be cared for indoors, rather than in tents. Woodward is even more important today because the main city hospital has collapsed.
