Volunteering Opportunities

Since the inaugural event in 1983, The Salvation Army has been the proud charity partner of Carols in the Domain, raising more than $3.5 million through the sale of candles and candle bags to help support Australians experiencing homelessness.

After two incredible decades with Woolworths as the naming rights partner for Carols, we’re thrilled to share a new chapter in the event’s history - The Salvation Army is now the official naming partner of Australia’s largest Christmas celebration, now proudly known as The Salvation Army’s Carols in the Domain.

This year, we’re seeking the support of volunteers to help us both pack and sell our Candle Bags! We also have an exciting opportunity at The Salvation Army’s Carols in the Domain to recruit volunteer ushers. Read on to learn more about the available opportunities this year and how to register.
