Celebrating 28 years, Kmart together with The Salvation Army are helping to make Christmas brighter for those who need it most.
In 2015, The Appeal aims to collect more than 500,000 gifts nationally to help the thousands of Australian’s in need this Christmas.
The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal is Australia's largest Christmas gift appeal, collecting more than six million gifts since its inception in 1988. We are proud that the Appeal is now a Christmas tradition, not only for Kmart and The Salvation Army, but for thousands of Australian's who donate each year.
This year you can also find us on Facebook and join the discussions about gift ideas, local Wishing Tree events and to keep up to date with how the Appeal is tracking against its gift target. You can do this by visiting the Wishing Tree Facebook Page.
In 2015, Kmart has made it easier for you to contribute to the Appeal. In addition to gift collections, you can also donate monetary contributions, both in-store and online by:
- Donate online.
- Taking a bauble gift tag off a Wishing Tree located in one of the Kmart stores listed below and adding a contribution to your transaction.
- Click the ‘Give’ sign on self-serve checkouts at one of the stores listed below to add a contribution to your transaction.
- Donate your spare change to any of the collection boxes located within on of the Kmart stores listed below.
