Thank you from The Salvation Army

We can't thank you enough

Thank you for your continued support of The Salvation Army and for walking alongside Australians facing hardship.

Our 56th Red Shield Appeal put the spotlight on a homelessness crisis bigger than many ever imagined. People, across the country, chose to join us in our fight to stop the rise in homelessness in Australia and because of your support, countless people were assisted through some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Your generous donation has helped us provide

41,033
people facing or at risk of homelessness with support
1,594,912
meals to people who accessed homelessness services
5700
women and children experiencing family/domestic violence with care
13,356
people with financial counselling

Your support keeps crucial services running year after year, making it possible for the Salvos to respond to the needs of their community. Be it through crisis accommodation, preventative programs and services, or refuges for a mother and child fleeing violence – you have helped transform countless lives for the better.

Read our newsletter below to discover some positive stories you've helped create.

There is still more to be done, and we cannot do it without your ongoing support. You can help us reach even more people in need by making a generous donation today.
