Applications for bushfire recovery grants are now closed

As funds have been effectively distributed to over 14,000 individuals, families and communities impacted by the 2019-2020 bushfires, we can no longer take applications for most grants.

Since the disaster began, those affected and presenting to The Salvation Army for help have received financial assistance through grants to assist in their recovery, including hardship, total loss of residence, and total loss of household goods, among other community-based grants.

While applications are now closed, Salvos remain in communities providing outreach support and chaplaincy for those affected.
