AUSTRALIA DAY MEDALLION MAJOR LAURIEE ARTHUR

Red Shield Defence Services is pleased to announce that Major Lauriee Arthur (6RAR) was recently presented with the Australia Day Medallion 2019 by Lieutenant Colonel Justin Bywater (CO 6RAR) and Warrant Officer Stephen Logan (RSM 6RAR).

Lauriee was nominated by Lieutenant Colonel Charmaine Benfield, her previous CO at 3CSSB Townsville.

Lauriee's citation reads:

"In appreciation of your outstanding service to the 3rd Combat Service Support Battalion as our Unit Philanthropic Officer - our Sallyma'am. During your posting to the unit you have provided excellent support to the soldiers and officers of the Battalion through difficult welfare circumsatances, and through your welcome presense at unit event."
