Hi everyone!

This coming Sunday, February 6, we will be holding our 9:30am service only followed by coffee and morning tea.  Join us as we explore what it means to be made in the image of God.

The following Sunday, February 13, we will also be holding a 9:30am service only, but we would like to invite everyone to stay for morning tea and to convene together again in the main worship hall at 11am for a special announcement regarding the future of Parramatta Salvos.

Our 9:30am services will continue to be live-streamed, however, the special announcement will not be live-streamed so we encourage you to attend in person. Of course, communication will be sent out the following week for those who cannot attend.

We hope that you will continue to join us in hope-filled prayer as we look towards the future for our corps and community here in Parramatta!

Community Connection Worker
This week applications close for our community connection worker position at Parramatta Salvos. We are hoping to find the right person to fill this role, beginning this month.

We will be employing a Community Connection Worker to focus on meeting community needs. The person in this role will work to develop and provide equitable and efficient community activities and programs. The employee will report to our Officer Team and work at Parramatta Corps.

This is a full time position, 38 hours per week, fixed term for 2 years. If you think you might be right for this role, or know someone who is, we encourage you to apply or share this position with your networks.

Please join us in praying for the right person to fill this role!
Christmas Day Offering
We are grateful for the generosity of all who contributed to our Christmas Day Offering this year. We were able to contribute $4465 to the building of toilet blocks in Malawi.
George Hazell
We want to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our friend George Hazell who turned 91 on 19 January. While it has not been possible for people to visit George due to restrictions, we would encourage you to reach out via phone or post. George's details are in our corps directory.
New Board Position
Congratulations to Anthony Eden who has been selected as an Under 35 Participant position on the Australia Territory Board. Following an in-depth application and selection process, Anthony has been given the opportunity to join the board this year. The 'Under 35 Board Participant Program' is believed to be the first initiative of its kind in the Army world, with Anthony being given ‘Participating Observer Status’ at the Board table.

We believe this will be a great development opportunity for Anthony as he gets to be part of the board and observe alongside our national leaders. Please join us in praying for Anthony as he takes on this new and exciting role!

The Australia Territory is accepting donations to help in the immediate relief effort and ongoing recovery. If you would like to donate, please do so by clicking this link.
