Welcome back to Parramatters for 2024! 

This Sunday we continue our new series 'Pre-Decide', helping us to make wise decisions that take us in the direction we want to go this year. We're meeting at 10am each Sunday in January, and we can't wait to see you this week!

Summer Party
Our Divisional Youth & Young Adults Summer Party is on Saturday 3 February. The day begins at 10am at Jamberoo Action Park, and will be followed by dinner and a service at Wollongong Salvos at 5pm. The cost of admission to Jamberoo is $50 (plus $$ or BYO lunch). The evening service and dinner are free. 

Registrations are now closed, but here are the details for those attending: The bus will leave Parramatta Salvos at 8am on Saturday 3 February, and return at approximately 9pm that evening. You will need to bring: sunscreen, swimmers, towel, change of clothes, water, any extra food you want or money to purchase.

If you didn't RSVP but still want to attend, you will need to purchase your own ticket to Jamberoo, which will cost $84 at the gate, and you will need to contact Shannon or Ryan to find out if there is room on the bus.

Community Nights in 2024
We're excited to let you know that our Community Nights will be back in 2024! These are social nights for all ages to come and connect and have a bit of fun!

Our first Community Event for 2024 is a Trivia Night!

This free event is for all ages at Parramatta Salvos on Saturday 2 March at 7pm. You can register a team, or as an individual. Bring your own supper to share with your table. Registrations essential: https://forms.office.com/r/qT59baehDi

Market Day resumes this week
Our weekly Community Market resumes this coming Wednesday 24 January from 10am. All are welcome to come and check out Market Day, or to volunteer on the team. If you would like more information, please contact our Community Program Coordinator, Roza at roza.gutschow@salvationarmy.org.au

Furlough
Next week we say farewell to Lt. Sarah for a few weeks as she heads overseas on holidays. Kylie will be the point of contact for all corps matters during this time.

Christmas Day Offering 
We want to thank all who contributed to our Christmas Day Offering. The Christmas Day Offering will contribute to the leadership development program in PNG, and we are please to inform you that Parramatta corps has given $4848.45 to the appeal.
