Ladies Fellowship
This Wednesday 9th August the Toongabbie Christian College Primary Ministry Choir will be performing at Ladies Fellowship. The choir used to visit Golden Years prior to Covid, and they are very excited to be coming back to Parramatta. This will be their first outside performance since 2020. The invitation is open to everyone, men and women, to join together at 10am for morning tea, followed by the meeting at 10.30am.

Kids & Youth Sunday
Our Kids and Youth Sunday is next week, Sunday 13 August!We'll be holding a special 10am service, followed by corps lunch and fun activities. Make sure you mark your diaries and plan to be there!
We are excited to let you know that Katelyn Parker will be getting enrolled as a Sr Soldier during this service!
Please come with a savoury lunch dish to share with everyone at our 12pm fellowship lunch, following the service. Dessert will be provided.

Trivia Night
We are excited to be partnering with Grill'd Parramatta in a fundraising Trivia Night, Sunday 25th August at 5.30pm, to raise money for Parramatta Salvos. Cost for the night is $25 per person, this includes a burger, chips and trivia. To register your attendance, please email parrmatta@salvationarmy.org.au

New Concierge
We are pleased to announce that Marica (pronounced Maritza) Stamp has commenced as our new Concierge. Marica comes to us from The Salvation Army's PR team and has been working in our building, in Shop 5, for the past 6 months.
We are excited that Marica has joined the team here at Parramatta,
If you're in the building during the week, please say hello to her and make her feel welcome.

Red Shield Appeal
Now that the financial year has come to an end, we are happy to let you know that Parramatta raised $31,790 for the Red Shield Appeal this year. This is a wonderful achievement, and we are grateful to all those who contributed to this result whether that be collecting, donating or fundraising in another way. 90% of this money comes back to Parramatta for us to use for mission.

English Conversation Group Bible Study
On Monday 24th August, Marg Poore, together with Bing Bing, Johnnie and Yana, recommenced a Bible Study after English Conversation Groups. Eight people attended week 1 and 8 people also attended week 2.
We thank God for opportunities we continue to have to share His love with others.
