Hi Parramatta Salvos,

This Sunday we continue our series in the book of Proverbs, looking at what it means to 'Manage Anger'.

We encourage you to catch up on any messages you have missed throughout the series on our Facebook Page or Youtube Channel.

We can't wait to worship with you this Sunday!

Homework Club
We are excited that a new Homework Group will be commencing at Parramatta Salvos in Term 4 on Wednesday 12th October at 4.30pm. We are in need of volunteers to help in this space, both working with children and young people, as well as serving in the cafe that will be open to parents and caregivers. If you are interested in volunteering or for more information, please contact our Community Connection Worker, Thushy at thushy.kailanathan@salvationarmy.org.au
Uniforms Needed!
From our Area Officer Mj. Robyn Black:
"Captain Ramson Kohe from PNG messaged me last week to say that they will be enrolling new soldiers when the General is there, and they will need skirts, trousers and white shirts (and jackets for the highlands).  All sizes, but especially smaller ones because a lot of the new soldiers are young people.
The General is there on the 24th-26 October, so we'll need to send them ASAP."

If you have any uniforms you would like to donate, please bring them to the corps office this week.
Baker Boys Live in Concert
On Wednesday 58 people gathered for a concert that was organized by the Ladies Fellowship.

Attendees were blessed to hear the musical talents of Gabe, Isaac and Elijah Baker, who played solos, duets and trios. The morning was compared by their dad Lyndon, who also played with the boys.

Mum, Jenny, was also present, ever supporting, organizing and encouraging the boys.

It was a fantastic  morning that was enjoyed by all. Thank you to the Baker Family for all your preparation.
Equip
This week a number of youth and young adults went to Collaroy for Equip. We had an absolutely fantastic week spending time together and learning more about Jesus. We encourage you to check in with the young people listed below and find out about their week. You can also pray for these young people as they implement what they have learned and experienced this week.
Jayne
Please pray for Jayne who is currently on holidays. Jayne has returned home to Switzerland for a family wedding and will be back soon!
