Divisional Men's Camp
Arise divisional mens camp is happening at the Collaroy Centre from Friday 22 July-Sunday 24 July. All men over the age of 18 are welcome to attend! You can register at: https://salvationarmy.typeform.com/AriseMens2022

Flourish
Flourish is this Saturday! This will be a 'High Tea' event costing $15pp and Melissa Monteiro is the special guest. Melissa is the CEO of the Community Migrant Resource Centre; she will be sharing about her life, moving from India to Australia, and her work. If you haven't registered but would still like to come to the event, please contact Jayne today (Friday).

Craft Group
On Friday 1 July, our craft group will have a special card making class. All are welcome, with various kits and supplies available! Craft group meets each Friday at 10am in our function hall at Parramatta Salvos. 

Exploring The Salvation Army Classes
Classes continue this Sunday! If you missed the first class, but would still like to join, please come along this Sunday!

These classes are similar to 'Soldiership' classes and have the potential to lead people towards soldiership or adherency, however, there is no obligation to become a solider or adherent after completing the course. It is a way to learn more about Salvation Army Doctrines and the lifestyle commitments that are influenced by our doctrines. It's a great way to understand more about what we believe and why. 

Sarah and Kylie will be running these classes (6 in total) on Sunday afternoons from 2pm-4pm. The dates are as follows: 26 June, 3 July, 24 July, 7 August, 14 August. 

Kids Ministry Weekend
Mark you diaries - Kids Ministry Weekend is coming up on 30 & 31 July! More information to come as we celebrate our theme for 2022 - "God's Big Story and Me".

Equip Registrations are LIVE
Equip Youth Camp is a one week camp run by The Salvation Army where young people (high school year 7 - 25y/o) gather to engage with Jesus and be equipped to impact their communities. Camp runs from 25 September-1 October and will include diverse electives, workshops, streams, encounter sessions, life labs, fun theme days and games nights.

Last week at Parramatta Salvos
We had a fantastic night out at Vivid, exploring the city together! We also had a great day last Saturday at the Bands in the Round event at Parramatta. On Tuesday, the Veterans Band put on a great concert with John Cleary. Thanks to all involved in the organisation of these fabulous events!

Health Concerns
With flu season taking hold, we ask that you pray for protection and health in our community. With both covid and influenza circulating, many people have been impacted and remain quite unwell. 

Promotion to Glory
A message from Lt colonel Cheryl Carpenter: It is with a sad heart I let you know the Major Lyn Day (NSW) was Promoted to Glory unexpectedly in the early hours of this morning 23/6/22. Please up lift Denis and the family in prayer at this time and in the day ahead . Please also uplift Major Dot Woodbury sister, and also Aunt to Commissioner Julie Campbell, Colonel Wendy Walters, Janelle Cocking (Port Macquarie) and Errol Jnr.
