As all staff at Parramatta Salvos are now working from home, the office phone will not be answered. We are always happy to chat and will attempt to do whatever we can to assist you if needed.

Prayer Meeting
Thanks for all those who continue to join us for our Zoom Prayer Meetings each week. All are welcome to join us this coming Wednesday night from 7pm-8pm. Everyone is invited to join, reflect and pray together. Kids Ministry Weekend
Next weekend (21-22 August) we were meant to join together and celebrate our Kids Ministry Weekend at Parramatta Salvos. We are disappointed that we had to cancel the weekend, but also excited to announce that we have rescheduled for 20-21 November. We ask you to put this date in your diary and continue to pray for our ParraKids!

All Abilities Inclusion Workshop
Our National Diversity & Inclusion Team is presenting an opportunity to be better equipped at including people of All Abilities by joining their Introduction to All Abilities Inclusion Workshop.

Exploring The Salvation Army
We are excited to announce that we will be holding 'Exploring The Salvation Army' classes at Parramatta Salvos in October/November 2021. These classes are for anyone seeking a better understanding of who we are as The Salvation Army and what we believe. These classes will explore our organisation and our doctrines, with opportunity for participants to become soldiers or adherents. Even if you don't think soldiership is for you, we encourage participation in these classes to gain a better understanding about who we are and what we believe.

We will be running two groups - young adults (16-30 year olds) and adults (30 and above). To express interest, please get in touch with Sarah.

Connecting Online
We had a great time last Sunday online for our virtual morning tea! Our band also caught up for some fellowship during the week. If you need any help connecting please reach out to us at parramatta@salvationarmy.org.au

Education in Lockdown
Please continue to pray for our school and university students who are learning online. These are challenging times for our students, and this week we ask that you specifically pray for those working towards their HSC. We also pray for all our teachers and education staff who are navigating teaching classes online in creative and engaging ways.

Praying through our Corps Directory
We invite everyone to join us as we begin praying our way through the Corps Directory. Each week we will pray for people with surnames beginning with 3 letters of the alphabet. This week we pray for surnames G-J, and we invite you to be praying for these people in your quiet time this week.
