New Series this Sunday - "How to Neighbour" 

This week we continue our series, "How to Neighbour" as Sarah looks at the theme of 'Empowering the Poor', and we hear more about how we can better build relationships and do good as we neighbour in the way that Jesus calls us to. 
Youth & Young Adults Worship Night
We are excited to invite all youth & young adults to attend our Worship Night this Sunday 7 March at 5:30pm here at Parramatta Salvos. We will be joined by special guest Lt. Col. Miriam Gluyas who will be bringing the word, and Ryan Keast will be sharing his testimony with us. 

If you don't quite fit into the 'youth & young adults' category anymore, but you would still like to attend to support, please join us!

Eyes High Divisional Event (Online)
Everyone is invited to join the NSW/ACT Division online via https://www.facebook.com/ASKNSWACT for the next 'Eyes High Event' on Sunday 14 March. The event will be live from 10am, so we encourage you to watch following our morning services here at Parramatta Salvos. 

This special event is a worship service and teaching with the amazing Col. Janet Munn sharing the Word. There will also be a special additional link for children.
iPads - Can you help us?
Our tech team are in need of 3 iPads to help with operations of our new systems at Parramatta Salvos. If you have an unused iPad at home, or would like to contribute a donation, please contact Anthony at: anthony.eden@salvationarmy.org.au
Happy Birthday!
This week we say Happy Birthday to Bill Mole who celebrates his 80th on Thursday 4 March and Beryl Drury who celebrates her 80th on Monday 8 March.
Chinese Discipleship Group
Last week our Chinese Discipleship Group met to celebrate Chinese New Year. We had a fantastic time sharing over a meal together. This group meets once a month on Saturday mornings. For more information please email the office at: parramatta@salvationarmy.org.au 
Salvos Online Art Exhibition
The Worship Arts Team is hosting the first Salvo Online Art Exhibition. The team want to encourage visual artists, graphic designers, photographers, sculptors, woodwork artists, crafters and other visual artisans to get involved. You can create a work inspired by one of the Salvo Mission Intentions and submit it for exhibition. Expressions of interest are now open! Self Denial Appeal
We encourage you to prayerfully consider your contribution to our Self Denial Appeal this year. Our Altar Service will take place in two weeks time on Sunday 21 March. We encourage you to keep reading the devotional material that supports this years appeal and look forward to sharing with you in our Altar Service.
