New Series this Sunday - "How to Neighbour"

This week we continue our series, "How to Neighbour" as Kylie unpacks the topic of 'Orphans Embraced', and we hear more about how we can better build relationships and do good as we neighbour in the way that Jesus calls us to.
COVID Update
From 26 February, singing by congregants is allowed in places of worship if masks are worn and subject to one person per 4sqm. As our building can accommodate these numbers under the 4sqm rule with our 2 services, you will be able to sing onlyif you are wearing a mask. If you do not wish to wear a mask, that is absolutely fine - we simply ask that you continue to respect those around you by refraining from singing.
Eyes High Divisional Event (Online)
Everyone is invited to join the NSW/ACT Division online via https://www.facebook.com/ASKNSWACT for the next 'Eyes High Event' on Sunday 14 March. The event will be live from 10am, so we encourage you to watch following our morning services here at Parramatta Salvos.

This special event is a worship service and teaching with the amazing Col. Janet Munn sharing the Word. There will also be a special additional link for children.
Youth & Young Adults Worship Night
We are excited to invite all youth & young adults to attend our Worship Night on Sunday 7 March at 5:30pm here at Parramatta Salvos. We will be joined by special guest Lt. Col. Miriam Gluyas who will be bringing the word, and Ryan Keast will be sharing his testimony with us.

If you don't quite fit into the 'youth & young adults' category anymore, but you would still like to attend to support, please join us!

Happy Birthday!
This week we are celebrating Emma Gerrad who turned 21, and Dooreen Salt who turned 90! Happy Birthday to you both - we hope you feel loved as you celebrate these significant birthdays!
Building Update
We are excited to officially confirm that Eva Burrows College (Sydney Campus) will be taking up the 2nd floor tenancy in our building. We are excited to be partnering with EBC and look forward to both working with them, and having some much needed income for our building and corps.

The news for the ground floor isn't quite as good. We have had a few nibbles, but it is going to be quite some time before we see paying tenants downstairs. Please continue to pray for the rental of this spaces.

As you may be aware there are still some adjustments happening to our building and we are continuing to work with contractors to rectify any issues that may arise. There have been a few warranty issues that are being dealt with by suppliers and the builder. Our commercial kitchen is still not fully operational and the air conditioning has had a few leaks. Be assured that all these matters have been reported through the warranty process and are being looked into. If you notice something during the week or on a Sunday that isn't quite right in the building, we ask that you report matters to Richard Eden.

You may be interested to know that two additional matters that we are currently working on are Salvation Army signage for the front of the building and car park, and a cross for the worship auditorium. We appreciate your patience as we work through these things.
James Young
Please pray for James as he begins his studies at the Police Academy in Goulburn.
Kevin Corkett
Please pray for Kevin who is home recovering after some time in hospital.
