This Sunday - "The Time is Now - A Study of the Book of Haggai"

This Sunday we continue our series on the book of Haggai, as we take a look at the blessings of obedience. Don't forget to register online if you are joining us for worship in person this week.

Next week we begin our new series "How to Neighbour" - a four-week series with a focus on local mission. Each week focuses on a different aspect of how to build relationships with our neighbours and how to do good in the context of those relationships. We're praying this series will equip us to impact our local community for Jesus.

Self Denial Appeal 2021
This Sunday is the launch of our annual Self Denial Appeal. Each week we will be challenged by videos that will take us on a journey as we explore the theme 'transform a life - transform the future'.

At Parramatta Salvos, we want to be part of transforming lives with the love of Jesus, and have set a bold goal of contributing $35,000 to this years appeal.

As we approach the altar service on Sunday March 21, we encourage you to prayerfully consider the the gift you are able to contribute to support the worldwide mission and ministry of The Salvation Army.

State of the Territory Event
The Salvation Army’s (TSA) inaugural State of the Territory event – hosted by our Territorial Leaders and the Chief Secretary – have been developed to give everyone at TSA the opportunity to ask questions about where we are now and what we hope for the future of the Army.

The events will be live streamed, so you can join online from wherever you are. The Salvation Army has gone through a lot of change in the last few years, not to mention the challenges thrown by COVID-19. These events were set up in response to requests and feedback for accessible and transparent conversations about the way things are and our future.

What will we be talking about?
While the Chief and Territorial Leaders will speak to current challenges and their hope and vision for The Salvation Army movement for 2021, the conversations will be led by you. Our leaders are calling on you to submit questions/topics that they can speak to on the day.

How can I contribute questions?
Send any questions or topics you would like discussed during these events to internalcommunications@salvationarmy.org.au by 17 February 2021.

All submissions will be treated with confidentiality. If all questions can't be addressed on the day due to time constraints, rest assured, responses will be shared in follow up communication after the events.

Sunday 21 February 4pm AEDT
This event will be live streamed from Box Hill Corps.
