Rural Chaplains

The Salvation Army is still on the ground supporting families and communities affected by drought.

We have Rural Chaplains available in NSW/ACT and QLD. Rural chaplains can visit or call you to provide emotional, spiritual and/or physical help. From practical support on the farm, to sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, our chaplains want to lend a hand. It doesn't matter how remote or isolated you are, our Outback Flying Services enable us to travel far and wide.

If you would like to speak with a Rural Chaplain please click the link below to find out more.

Supporting our farmers and communities

If you would like to support the communities affected by the drought, we are taking donations. Please keep in mind that during times of need we are often inundated with public generosity, however, our teams on the front line are currently requesting cash donations as they allow us to provide immediate assistance to the community.

Cash donations also allow the people affected to recover with dignity by purchasing items they need most, which also injects much-needed funds into the local economy.
