We offer short-stay accommodation of three months to singles aged 18 or over. During your stay with us, a case worker will work with you to find long-term accommodation, help you apply for government income support, and equip you with appropriate knowledge and resources to achieve independence.
We help you re-connect with your community through introducing you to friendship and activity groups. We can also support you with finance concerns, identifying a local medical practice you can rely on, and offer advocacy and referrals.

All of this is vital to supporting your rehabilitation and re-introduction to the community after a period of living on the street or 'couch surfing’.
The Sunrise Centre Homeless Program accommodates 30 single people. Each person gets their own room with a bed, wardrobe, chair and desk, and adjoining bathroom. The typical length of stay is three months, during which each person receives intensive assistance from a professional case worker.
The goal of each case worker is to fully understand the reasons for each person’s homelessness and develop a strategy for future accommodation and support options.
There are different fees based on the assessment on entry.
You can refer yourself or you can refer on behalf of someone else.
