2016 Red Shield Challenge

2 May 2016

You can help The Salvation Army give hope where it's needed most this May by giving just a few hours of your time to take part in the Robert Menzies College 2016 Red Shield Challenge!

WHAT WILL I DO: Taking part in the Red Shield Challenge means hitting the streets to doorknock and raise money so that others doing it tough don't have to be on the streets at night. You will break into small groups of 4-5 with your friends and will be dropped by one of our drivers to an area where we literally go door to door and ask people if they would like to support the Salvos. You will be amazed by the generousity that is out there in the community!

WHEN IS IT ON AGAIN: Saturday 28th May from 10am - 12pm is the 'offical' Red Shield Challenge where most students from RMC will be volunteering (plus there's a free pancake breakfast!) BUT if you want to be involved but can't be there on Saturday then you are also very welcome to come and join us on Sunday 29th May as well!

I HEARD THERE'S A FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST: There sure is! Katrina and the RMC team will be generously putting on a yummy pancake breakfast for everyone taking part which will be served in the Courtyard on Saturday morning at 9:30am.

WHERE DO WE GO: After the Pancake Breakfast we will bus everyone 2 minutes down the road to the Ryde Salvation Army Building which is at Unit 5, 112 Talavera Road (behind the Macquarie Centre). There we will gear you up and send you out to collect in the community.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THESE PRIZES: Everyone who takes part in the Robert Menzies College Red Shield Challenge will go in the draw to win a Grill'd Burger vouchers and Event Cinema gift cards!
