The Brisbane City Temple Band is one of the largest Salvation Army bands in Australia. It has a fine history of musicianship and has served the Brisbane community for almost 130 years.

Under the baton of Bandmaster Tim Green, the BCT Band provides a visible evangelical presence in the heart of Brisbane.

If you are a bandsman visiting Brisbane, or someone interested in bands, you are welcome to visit the Brisbane City Temple on rehearsal nights - Wednesdays at 7pm, at 167 Ann Street, Brisbane.

You will also be made welcome at our Sunday morning worship at the Corps, at 10:45 am.

This Salvation Army event is a child-safe event. All staff are volunteers and have valid blue cards.

Brassworx 24 is an enriching musical experience for young and emerging brass instrumentalists and percussion musicians.

The event provides an opportunity to explore the fantastic repertoire of the brass band world while improving skills under the guidance of one of Australia’s best
brass band trainers - Ken Waterworth.

The musical focus will be on the deep and wide Salvation Army brass band repertoire, with local and overseas composers, allowing participants to enjoy brass band playing at the highest possible standard.

Brassworx seeks to inspire and motivate musicians by showcasing the rich tradition of Salvation Army and other brass band music.
