Luke's Story

I spent most of my teens years living on the streets.  My mum died when I was little and my dad was in prison.  I had no family support when I was growing up and got involved in crime. I only just survived.  My Juvenile Justice caseworker referred me to the Drive for Life program to meet my bail requirements.  I worked with my mentor, got my Learners and soon after I passed my Ps. I could drive. It was hard work but it helped me get a plumbing apprenticeship.  Life is looking better!
