Youth homelessness is at a crisis point. Every night across Australia 32,000 young people are homeless. It's astounding that in a country of such affluence, the number of young people on our streets has doubled since 20 years ago. What's even worse is that one in two homeless young people are turned away from a bed every night because services are so full. Rather than harbour a sense of helplessness, we're making a stand by sleeping out in support of Australia's homeless youth over the June long weekend, all across this nation of Australia.
