Oasis is an expression of The Salvation Army, supporting young people in the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions, on their journey to independence.

We love walking alongside young people to help build a stronger community. And we are committed to supporting them to develop the skills and capacity to live healthy and independent lives. We do this by delivering a range of programs and services including vocational training, drug & alcohol support and driver training.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Oasis acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the various lands on which we deliver services and their ongoing connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

What we offer

Youth Support

At Oasis we offer a range of services and programs, created especifically to support and empower the young people around our communities.

Vocational Training

Oasis have partnered with The Salvation Army Eva Burrows College to deliver leading accredited vocational training on the Central Coast and Hunter regions.

Drive for Life

Drive for Life aims at providing participants with supervised driving instruction and life mentoring towards getting their drivers licence in a supportive environment.

Social Enterprise

Café Oasis

Located at both Hamilton and Wyong locations, we offer takeway and seated coffee and meals. All profits go to supporting Oasis and the Salvation Army works.
