Loving God and others

The Salvation Army Eastlakes is a place for everyone.

Our hope is that you’ll feel comfortable and at home from the moment you visit.

Welcome to Eastlakes Salvos. We meet every Sunday to worship God together and offer a range of activities throughout the week that encourage connection with Jesus and each other. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you in everyday life, or to help you through a tough season, Eastlakes Salvos is here for you.

We’re a church family that began in the early ’90s. We love God and we love people! We’d love the opportunity to journey with you and get to know you better. Our greatest joy is seeing people step into a relationship with Jesus and grow in their faith.

At Eastlakes, we celebrate life in all its joys, challenges, struggles and beauty. We believe that being planted in a church community and getting involved is the key to growth.

Our Eastlakes ‘5G’ values are:

  • God’s Word — Read it, love it, live it
  • Grounded in Prayer — Connecting with God
  • Growth — Individually and together, living Jesus-centred and Spirit-led
  • Generational Discipleship — Every generation encouraging one another in apprenticeship to Jesus
  • Generosity — Sharing our time, talents and treasures

Worship, fellowship and friendship

Several people, including a man, a woman with gray hair, and a young woman, are raising their hands in a church. A large, a cross is illuminated on the ceiling. Salvation Army flags are visible in the background.

Worship God with us

Sunday worship, 9.30am

We gather for a time of prayer, praise and great Bible teaching. Following the meeting, we invite you to join us for morning tea and a chat.

At Eastlakes, we believe the best place to be on a Sunday morning is gathered with our church family to worship our amazing God and encourage one another.  We also livestream our services. We’re so thankful for the teams who make this possible for everyone.

Community activities

Our community at Eastlakes is well connected, and we truly value friendship, cuppas, good conversation and encouraging one another in our walk with Jesus. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy these things through our activities during the week.

You are warmly welcome to join any of our groups — and bring a friend along too.

Kingdom Kids

Sunday, 10am
During school terms

A fun-packed, ministry for 3- to 12-year-olds which brings the truth of God to life. Lessons are Bible-based and are presented in a way which speaks to kids today. We want our kids to get to know Jesus as their best friend and learn what it means to walk with Him every day.

New kids are always welcome, please join the fun!
