Accordion
This block allows a larger amount of information to be condensed in a smaller space.
When should I use an accordion?
- When a large amount of information can be "grouped" into question and answer format
- When it makes sense to take users through a series of steps (accordions)
- For "search engine optimisation" purposes.
- Google paticularly "rewards" sites that use a "frequently asked questions" format.
- Using this format will amplify the chances of the content appearing in the search results (in external search providers such as Google).
- In addition, this format appeals to "voice command" products, such as Alexa and Google Home.
What makes up an accordion?
Each accoridon block can be made up of the following:
