The Story of the Ivoti people

When the Ivoti people sold their coffee in 2011 at a higher price they came here to the CARE program office and asked if they could buy lots of roofing iron, coffee pulping machines and gardening tools with their profit. They asked us for help so we took them to the warehouse and helped them to buy their goods. The Ivoti people then hired a truck to take it all back to their village. Without the help and training of the Salvos Coffee team these people would have had great difficulty in purchasing goods to help their productivity and may have spent their money on unnecessary things.
