If you are experiencing financial hardship or are facing a crisis, contact us to find out how we can support you. Depending on your situation, and what we have available, we may be able to provide you with vouchers for food, fuel or electricity. We can also help with referrals to other support services such as addiction rehabilitation centres.

For all-year financial support, call us and a team member will have a compassionate conversation with you to understand your needs and let you know what help is available.
When you phone us, you may be told you're eligible for a voucher and directed to visit us for collection on a Wednesday between 2–4pm.

The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, Moneycare, is here to help you feel in control of your finances. We can work with you to manage your debt, develop new strategies or you may like to explore our free eBook. We can also point you in the right direction for a No Interest Loan.

If you are aged 18–21 years and having trouble with housing, education or family, the Queensland Government have an online directory to help you find the right support.

The Bundaberg Youth Refuge is a 6-bed residential program that provides crisis accommodation and case management to young people aged 16–21 years old. There is no set timeframe for this support.

We provide an external 24/7 supported accommodation service to young adults aged 18–24 years with dependent children in our self-contained units. Accommodation fees are no more than 30% of income and up to a maximum of $200 per week, per unit. Support also includes case management and referrals.

If you find it difficult to communicate in or understand English, our team will provide you with more information and support you to access an interpreter through the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National). This is free and you can request an interpreter whenever you feel you need one. Call 131 450.
