The love of Christ compels us to be SALT & LIGHT

Our Guest Speakers

Major San Holland

San is the Corps Officer at Rouse Hill in Sydney’s northwest and is a dynamic speaker who has a passion to see people saved and discipled. She is a leader who believes the Salvation Army was born of The Holy Spirit and must continue in His transforming power.

San shares in ministry with her husband, Topher, who is the Divisional Mission Team leader in our division. They have been officers for 27 years, during which time they have been involved in corps leadership and divisional youth work, with godly energy. They have three adult children, Giselle, Rowan, and Liam along with grandchildren.  San will bring ministry to the weekend with wisdom gleaned from her life as a minister, wife, mother and grandmother.

1 Cor 2:1 - 'I do not come to you with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaim to you the testimony about God.
I resolve to know nothing except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
I come to you in weakness with great fear and trembling.
My message and my preaching are not with wise and persuasive words but I am praying with a demonstration of the spirits power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom but on God's power.'

This year Lieutenant Katie Ryan is our worship leader at WOW.

Katie and her husband Matt, are the Assistants to the manager at William Booth House (Recovery Services).  They have a beautiful daughter Eleanor with another due to make it's appearance to the world in September.  This 'Ryan Team' is passionate about seeing people find freedom from addiction and finding hope in Jesus.

Katie is especially passionate about Lego, music, discipleship and worship.  Above all, Katie loves Jesus and creating a space where people can encounter him, his father and spirit in a real and life changing way.

If there was one thing Katie could do on this earth, it would be to live a life worthy of her calling!

Our WOW team are working on some great ideas to make this weekend hugely significant and one which will create some great lifetime memories.

Held at the picturesque Collaroy Centre, with comfortable accomodation, lovely meals and surrounded by magnificent views, this year's WOW is not to be missed!

Come and relax, enjoy, and be encouraged.  Let us love and spoil you and allow our great God to bless you!
