The following women make up the 2015 WOW Team.
Major Denise Parkinson is the Divisional Director for Women's Ministries in the Greater West Division.
Denise with her husband Warren have served as Salvation Army Officers for the past 27 years. 20 of these years Corps Officers and one term overseas in Northern Ireland.
Denise has 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
Denise is full of life and energy and passionate about people coming to know Jesus.
Kym Briggs is the Divisional Salvos Women Coordinator in the Greater West Division.
Kym heads up the WOW Committee and is responsible for the organisation of our WOW weekend. Kym has 2 boys and is married to Stuart and together they worship at the Menai Salvation Army. There she is involed in the Sunday Service Planning Team and the organisation of planning Church Family Social Events.
Kym loves life and loves working with the women in the Division. She is passionate about women finding joy through Jesus and living life to the full. She loves to create life-time memories with her family and friends.. and strives to live an authentic filled life.
Annette Donovan has been a part of the the WOW team since it began. Annette worships at the Auburn Salvation Army. She is married to Greg and together they shine Jesus through there love for those around them. At her Corps Annette is very involved in many areas and is a faithful servant at Auburn and serving the Auburn community.
Annette looks after the decor for our weekend and always creates an atmosphere where women feel valued and loved... she always goes above and beyond to make women feel special... Annette has a real gift! She is a treasured and valued member of our team.
Rachael Farthing and her husband Phillip are the Leaders at The Salvation Army at Chifley Mission.
Rachael is our newest member to the team and brings her beautiful creativity and caring heart for people.
Rachael and Phillip have a beautiful ministry at Chifley as they love and minister to those around them in the community as they not only living out Jesus through The Salvation Army but they also really love those around them. Rachael is passionate about families finding freedom through Jesus.
Catherine Connors is another valuable member of our team.
Catherine works at our Greater West Divisional Headquarters. Catherine has a creative flair and loves to laugh.
She is very creative and brings some great new and fresh ideas to our weekend.
Hayley Grigg works at our Divisional Headquarters in Youth and Children's Ministries. Hayley is incredibly talented in many areas, including drama, when we saw God at work through Hayley at last year's WOW.
Hayley brings another creative flair to the team, is full of energy and is a great bubbly personality. We are blessed to have Hayley as a part of the WOW planning team this year.
Belinda Atherton-Northcott is part of the Mission Team at The Greater West DHQ and works in Salvos Caring, Seniors Ministry and mission reso
urcing. She is the proud mum of two young children, Noah 4 and Emily 2, and loves watching them grow in love with Jesus, each other and those around them. She loves Jesus, D & M's, serving others, laughing, all things crafty and creative, chai lattes and seeks to live a grateful, generous, authentic spirit-led life. Belinda loves her church family at Rouse Hill Salvos and is excited about the opportunity women from all over the Division have to come together, form community, encounter God and be transformed by Jesus this year at WOW weekend.
