Activities for kids and youth

Our employees and volunteers have been trained in our child safe policies and hold current Working with Children Checks.

Child safety

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children of all ages. We believe all children and young people should feel safe when attending our programs and we have processes for handling concerns and complaints.

Parents are also welcome to join and watch their children.

The Salvation Army Guarding and Legion Activities (SAGALA) is a fun, scout-style program. This is a safe and supportive environment where kids can earn badges when they complete tasks, learn new skills and enjoy activities.

The objective is to help children feel equipped for life, reach their full potential, know they are valued, explore and grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus.

Youth group

Every second Friday, 7–9pm

For years 7 to 12

Together with Canberra Salvos Youth we hold a welcoming space for teens to grow in faith, build lasting friendships and have a ton of fun.

From games to worship nights, there's always something exciting going on. It's a place where everyone belongs, laughs are shared, and God's love is at the heart of it.
