Opportunities to volunteer your time

Volunteers bring life to our values of integrity, compassion, respect, diversity and collaboration.

We have many fantastic opportunities for individuals and groups to join us at Sydney City Salvos. Whether you’re an individual wanting to volunteer, a corporate group looking to make a difference, or someone who’d like to give financially or donate items, there’s a way for you to be part of the change.

You’ll be helping to grow our online shops — a great opportunity if you enjoy photography, writing product descriptions, or packing orders.

Corporate groups

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend your next team-building day? Get hands-on, make a real difference and give back to the local community.
 
Groups of four to 12 people can join us for for either a full day (9am–3.30pm), a half day (12.30–4pm) or an evening (4–7pm). Community activities include:
