Stafford Salvos

The annual Salvation Army Self-Denial Appeal is to be launched on Sunday, March 3. This appeal raises money from within church ranks to help continue the church's international work around the world. The appeal runs for about six weeks and church members are encouraged to try to give one week's salary to the appeal. The plan is that people put away an amount each week and bring it on Altar Service Sunday and present it to the church. The appeal was once known as OWSOMS - one weeks salary on missionary Sunday.
