Sharon says to stay focused

Area Officer Major Sharon Clanfield, above, led morning worship on April 14 and preached on the words from Isaiah 43.

She called us to keep our focus on our God who is far bigger than anything we face in life and a God who is with us through all life’s circumstances.

We heard that God is writing our own unique story so we should work on not being distracted by the past or what is going on around us but, if we become aware we are, to change our focus, clarify our focus and keep our focuson Him.

Sharon said we had been created for a purpose and with a purpose so we should ask God to write our story on our hearts to help us to move forward into the story He is writing for us.

Sharon, along with husband, Neil, Area Officers for The Salvation Army's Brisbane City, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and South Burnett regions with Stafford falling under their portfolio of care and support.
