We're celebrating our 20th year

The Salvation Army Stafford worship and community centre was opened in a special ceremony on July 26,2003.

To commemorate this event 20 years on, we are holding an celebration weekend on July 15-16.

Part of the celebrations are to include a dinner on the Saturday night and commemoration worship on Sunday morning.

Invitations are going out to any people who may be interested in attending the dinner and the worship.

The dinner is to be held at the Broncos Leagues Club, at Red Hill, and Sunday worship in our amazing corps facility. For the dinner, we can seat a maximum of 140.

We want our celebration to be missional also so, along with soldiers, adherents and regular attendees at our corps at the moment, we are keen to connect with those who no longer attend any place of worship or go to other churches who also may like to attend our celebration dinner.

For those who do not attend our corps at the moment, invitations can be sent to them. Our guests for the weekend are to be Captains Natalie and Scott Frame.

Our Sunday worship service is to begin at the regular time of 9.30am and everyone is welcome. No children or youth meetings are to be run that morning to allow everyone to be part of the main service.

Morning tea is to follow. For further information and/or details on the invitation process, contact Major Ian at the corps on 3037 0700.
