Creativity key to raising funds

Time is running out to raise funds for the 2023 Red Shield Appeal.
The campaign is in full swing and building up to the main Red Shield Appeal weekend of May 20-21 and many generous supporters, including many of our corpsfolk at Stafford are already raising the much-needed funds that help keep running our church's social welfare services around the country.
The Digital Doorknock is a simple online way to "knock" on the doors of your family, friends and community, asking for their help to support your fundraising. This year, to boost your fundraising, you can even do a challenge, an event or something else creative.

DO a CHALLENGE
Take on a physical challenge and use it as an opportunity to make a real impact for The Salvation Army.
Whether it's a walk or a marathon, a long ride or a trek, a big swim or even a fun run, burpees, squats or even crunches, you can push your limits and inspire others while raising money and awareness for those in need in our community.
DO an EVENT
Fundraising is a wonderful way to bring people together and build new connections.
Gather your team at work, school or your social or sports groups to host an event and help support Australians facing hardship.
DO a SLEEP OUT
Why not dust off your camping gear and sleep rough for one night? You could sleep out solo or invite friends, family, colleagues or your social groups to join in.
DO it YOUR OWN WAY
The possibilities are endless when it comes to making a difference for the cause you care about.
Unleash your creativity, pick your own fundraising adventure, and make a real impact in your own unique way. We've seen great fundraisers grow a beard, shave their head and even give up coffee or chocolate - all for a good cause - to raise money to help people in need.
