Stafford Salvos

Our Easter Sunday culminated in a worship service that challenged us to ensure that we continually recognise Jesus and that we seek to always be in His presence so that we do not forget Him.

The weekend began on Good Friday when a group of seven gave their account of the first Good Friday, then on to the Sunrise Service in Newstead Park, when we were encouraged to not seek Jesus among the dead and dark things of life but among the things that give us life and light, to our Easter Sunday service where three more characters, Mary, Thomas and Cleopas, gave their versions of their encounters with the Risen Christ.

Our weekend was thought-provoking, inspirational, different and God-honouring.
