How can I donate goods to the thrift shop?

By donating your unwanted goods, you’re not only giving a once loved item another life, you are helping us give hope where it’s needed most. Our Salvos Stores and op shops specialise in reselling donated goods to help fund vital services and activities run by The Salvation Army.

Donations can be made to our shop at 3 Mill Street, Mooroopna, during business hours. Please see below for lists of items we can and cannot accept.

Mooroopna Thrift Shop doesn't sell or pickup furniture. If you have large items to donate, you can request a pickup through Salvos Stores. Your donation will still support the work of the Salvos.

What happens to our profit?

All profits from our shop stay locally, supporting various programs of The Salvation Army such as community meals, food relief, outreach, visitation, and pastoral/social support to the community.
