We’re very excited to announce that Aussie singer Samantha Jade is once again partnering with us this year as our Christmas Ambassador.

“I feel extremely proud to be affiliated with The Salvation Army for another year as their Christmas Ambassador. The work that they do for families in need throughout the year and especially during the festive season is remarkable and extremely moving. The spirit of Christmas should be shared with all and I’m so pleased to help the Salvos achieve this.” says Samantha.

At the end of this month, Samantha and our Hope Mission Team will travel to her home state of Western Australia where we’ll be spreading Christmas cheer and kindness to the local community. “Christmas is my favourite time of year, and spending Christmas at home with my loved ones has always been a precious tradition for me,” she explains.

In the spirit of the season, Samantha has also released her debut album The Magic Of Christmas with a Salvo inspired bonus track recorded with The Salvation Army Choir. The track titled ‘This Candle Time Of Year’ features lyrics such as "Hope begins when fear fades, it brings a new day... Let the candle burn bright, light the flame and share the light.".

The album is available here with a number of limited edition autographed copies available for purchase at physical retailers.

This Christmas, with the help of partners like Samantha Jade, we are letting our voice be heard that help and support is available for Aussies doing it tough.
