Prime Minister Julia Gillard Announces Royal Commission

The Salvation Army acknowledges the announcement that Prime Minister Julia Gillard will be recommending to the Governor-General the establishment of a Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Australia.

The Salvation Army will openly cooperate with the Royal Commission and looks forward to the announcement of the terms of reference in due course.
