WHO WE ARE
Whilst The Salvation Army is well known for its range of community services both here in Australia and across the world, we are first and foremost an expression of the christian church. All that we do in service of our community stems from our desire to worship God and serve people in the name of Jesus. We invite you to join us.
WHAT WE DO
We offer a range of spiritual, welfare and assistance programs. We also work closely with the OASIS Hunter Youth Network, with whom we share our premises in Hamilton. We have a church service every Sunday at 10am. During the week we have fun activities for adults and children. Please join us for church or our weekly activities.
MISSION & VISION
Here, in Newcastle, our mission is simply about knowing Jesus, making Jesus known and serving people in Jesus' name.
Our National Vision is: Wherever there is hardship or injustice, Salvos will live, love and fight alongside others to transform Australia one life at a time with the love of Jesus.
